Confirm your email address
Signing up with an email address sends a six-digit code. Enter it, or click the link in the message, and you are in.

Signing up with an email address and password sends a confirmation message to that address and lands you on a screen headed Thank you for signing up!
Two ways to finish
Click the link in the email, and you are signed in.
Or read the six-digit code out of the email and type it into the boxes on screen. The form submits itself as soon as you enter the sixth digit, so there is no button to press.
If the email has not arrived
Check the spam folder first. If it is not there, use Resend confirmation email at the bottom of the screen. You can send one every 60 seconds, and the button shows the countdown as Resend available in 45s while you wait.
Confirmation mail comes from CircuitSim with the subject line about confirming your address. Adding circuitsim.com to your safe senders list helps if your mail provider is aggressive about filtering.
Errors you might see
The code is expired or has already been used. Codes are single use and do not last indefinitely. Send a new one with Resend confirmation email and use the newest message in your inbox.
Email link is invalid or has expired. This appears on an error page rather than the verification screen, and means you clicked a link from an old message. Go back to log in and start again, or use Resend confirmation email.
If you closed the tab
The verification screen needs to know which address it is verifying, so opening it from a bookmark sends you back to the sign-up page. Go to log in and enter your email and password instead. Because the address is not confirmed yet, the log in page shows the verification prompt and a Resend confirmation email button, along with a link reading Enter verification code instead.
Signing up with Google or GitHub
There is no confirmation step. The provider has already verified the address, so you go straight in.
