Sign up with an email address, a sign-in link, a Google account, or a GitHub account. Whichever you pick, use the same one every time you come back.

Ways to sign up
Three buttons sit above the form: Google, GitHub, and Email link. Below them is the email and password form.
Google and GitHub hand you to that provider to approve access, then bring you straight back. There is no password to set and no email to confirm.
Email link sends you a sign-in link instead of asking you to choose a password. Enter your email address, press Send link, then either click the link in the email or type the six-digit code on the next screen.
Email and password is the form itself. Fill in First name, Last name, Email address, and a Password of at least eight characters, then repeat it in Confirm Password.

Keep me up to date on CircuitSim updates and offers is optional, and you can change it later under Account, then Preferences.
I agree with the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy is required. Both documents open from that line.
Press Create account when the form is complete.
The security check
A security check appears above the button on the sign-up, log in, and password reset forms. It usually resolves on its own in a second or two.
Content blockers and strict privacy extensions are the common reason it fails. If you see Security verification could not load. Disable content blocking for this site or refresh the page., allow circuitsim.com in your blocker and use the Reload page button.
After you sign up
Signing up with email sends a confirmation message to the address you entered, and takes you to a screen where you can type the code from it. See Confirm your email address.
Signing up with Google or GitHub skips that step and drops you straight into CircuitSim.
Use the same method each time
An account created with Google and an account created with the same email address and a password are two separate accounts as far as sign in is concerned. If you signed up with Google, there is no password to type, and the password form will reject you with a credentials error rather than pointing you at the Google button.
If you are not sure which one you used, try Email link with that address. It works with or without a password on the account.
Errors you might see
An account already exists with this email address. Please sign in to continue. means that address is already registered. Go to log in, or use Forgot password? if you cannot remember the password.
Please use a stronger password means the password is too easy to guess. Add length rather than substituting numbers for letters.
Passwords don't match means the two password fields differ. The eye icon at the end of each field reveals what you typed.
