Save a circuit and find it again
Saving is manual, with Ctrl+S or the save button in the top bar. Everything you save turns up under My circuits.

CircuitSim does not save your work automatically. There is no timer, and no recovered draft is waiting for you if the tab goes away.
Saving
Press Ctrl+S, or use the save button in the top bar.
The button's tooltip tells you what it is going to do. Unsaved changes. Click to save all circuit changes means the circuit itself has moved on. Unsaved cosmetic only changes means the schematic is the same but the view is not, such as a panel you resized. No changes to save means everything is already stored.
A saved circuit shows a Circuit saved successfully confirmation.
Naming it
New circuits arrive without a name. Click the title at the top left of the editor to type one, and it saves as soon as you confirm it. A description and tags live in the Properties panel, and both help you find the circuit later.
Leaving with unsaved work
Navigating away with changes outstanding brings up a dialog headed Unsaved changes:
This circuit has unsaved changes. If you leave this page, those changes will be lost. Do you want to continue?
Leave page discards the work. Anything else takes you back so you can save.
Closing the browser tab outright does not always give you that dialog. Save first.
Finding it again
My circuits in the left navigation lists everything you own, newest edits first. Search the list by name, filter by tag, and sort by name, date created, or last modified. Switch between the list and tile views with the button at the top right.
If someone else saved while you were editing
Circuits shared with a group can be open in two places at once. Saving on top of someone else's change brings up Circuit changed since you opened it:
- Discard your changes and load theirs takes the other version
- Overwrite keeps yours
- Save as a copy keeps both, with yours as a new circuit
How many you can keep
The free Basic plan holds five circuits, Standard holds ten, and Premium is unlimited. The limit applies when you create something new, so a plan change never deletes work you have already saved.
