Share a circuit
Copy the share link from the Share circuit dialog, and check the circuit is public first so the link opens for everyone.

Sharing works by link. Open the Share circuit dialog, copy the link out of it, and paste that link wherever you want it to go.
Opening the dialog
Go to My circuits, find the circuit in the list or tile view, and open the row's overflow menu. It offers About, Share, Copy, and Delete. Choose Share.
The dialog opens with the line Choose a platform below or copy the link to share this circuit.
Copying the link
The Share link field is read only and holds the address of the circuit. The Copy button beside it puts that address on your clipboard, and you get Circuit link copied to clipboard when it works or Unable to copy circuit link when the browser refuses clipboard access.
Paste it into an email, a message, a document, or a forum post. This is the link to hand out.
Which link you get
The dialog gives you one of two addresses, depending on the circuit.
- A public circuit that has been saved produces its public overview page address. Anyone can open it, signed in or not. See what-visitors-see-on-a-public-circuit.
- Anything else, meaning a private circuit or one still unsaved, produces the editor address. That address only opens for people who already have access to the circuit. Everyone else hits a sign in screen or a wall.
So the useful check before sharing is whether the circuit is public. The dialog tells you when it is not:
This circuit is private. Only users with permission can access it. Consider making it public if you want to share it with everyone.

Sharing without making a circuit public
There are two ways to give access without publishing:
- Share it with a group. Group members get access to the original circuit, at view level or edit level, and it stays private to everyone else. See share-a-circuit-with-a-group.
- Send the file. Open the circuit, go to Properties, then Advanced, then Circuit Actions, and use Export circuit to download a .csim file. Whoever receives it imports it from the circuits list with Import circuit. They get their own independent copy rather than access to yours.
What sharing does not do
Sharing a link never grants edit rights. A person who opens your public circuit can read it and copy it into their own account, and their copy is separate from yours. Nothing they do touches your version.
There is no embedding. CircuitSim circuits do not render inside another page or an iframe, so a link is the way to point people at a circuit.
