The verification email never arrived

Resend it from the verification page, check spam, and use the six digit code if the link has expired.

Nothing has arrived in your inbox, and the verification page is still waiting for a code. The page you were sent to after signing up has everything needed to fix this, including a resend button.
What the page says
Thank you for signing up!
A confirmation email has been sent to [email protected]. Please enter the verification code below.
Below the code boxes:
Didn't get the email, or did the link expire?
Resend it
  1. Press Resend confirmation email. The button reads Sending... while it works.
  2. A confirmation appears: We sent another confirmation email. Check your inbox (and spam).
  3. The button then counts down, showing Resend available in 60s and dropping to zero before it can be used again.
The email arrives within a minute or two. School and workplace mail systems sometimes hold it longer.
Check the places it hides
  • The spam or junk folder, which is where most of these end up
  • Promotions or Updates tabs, if your mail client sorts into tabs
  • A school filter or quarantine digest, which may need an administrator to release it
  • The address itself, since one typo at sign up sends the email somewhere real but not yours
If the address was wrong, sign up again with the correct one.
Use the code rather than the link
The email carries both a link and a six digit code. If the link does nothing, or opens in a browser that is not the one you signed up in, type the code into the boxes on the verification page instead. The form submits on its own as soon as the sixth digit lands.
If the code is refused
The code is expired or has already been used.
Codes are single use and time limited, so an old email will not work. Resend, then use the newest code. If the message persists with a fresh code:
Failed to verify code. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact support.
If the link says it expired
Clicking a link from an old email lands on a page headed That didn't work... with the message Email link is invalid or has expired. Go back to the verification page and resend from there.
If you closed the tab
The verification page needs the email address in its address to know who it is verifying, so a bookmarked copy sends you back to sign up. The way back is the log in page: enter the same email address and password, and the unverified state appears there with its own Resend confirmation email button.
If it still does not arrive
Try an address on another mail provider, or ask an administrator to allow mail from CircuitSim if you are on a school or company account. Support can also confirm whether the account exists and whether the send went out. Open the chat in the bottom right corner with the address you used.
