Change or cancel your plan
Downgrades and cancellations take effect at your renewal date. You keep your current plan until then, and you can resume before it ends.

Plan changes and cancellations that lower what you pay take effect at your renewal date. You keep the plan you have until then, nothing is charged at the time you make the change, and nothing you have built is affected.
Moving to a cheaper plan
Pick the lower plan on the pricing page. A dialog headed Change plan at renewal? confirms what will happen:
You'll keep Premium until 3 May 2027, then move to Standard (annual). You won't be charged now, and nothing you've made is affected.
Confirm change schedules it. Your plan card then carries a note that reads Scheduled to switch to Standard on that date, and the pricing page shows Scheduled on the card you chose.
To call the change off, re-select your current plan under View plans before the date arrives. That is the only way to undo it, and the banner on the plan card says so.
Canceling
Cancel subscription on Plan & billing starts a short flow.
The first step asks why, with options including It's too expensive, I'm not using it enough, It's missing features I need, I'm switching to another tool, My school or team provides access, and Something else. Answering is optional. Never mind backs out and Continue moves on either way.
The second step tells you what canceling costs you and, when one is available, offers a discount to stay:
If you cancel today, your Premium access ends on 3 May 2027. You'll keep all your saved work, but you'll lose access to private circuits and components, and unlimited circuits, components, and simulations. You can resume any time before then.
Cancel subscription on that screen finishes the cancellation in one click. The other button keeps you on, applying the discount if one was offered. That offer is available once per account, ever, and does not appear if your subscription already carries a discount or if a group seat covers you at the same tier or higher.
Premium subscribers get a middle option on the same screen: switch to Standard instead of leaving. Choosing it opens Switch to Standard?, which confirms that you keep Premium until your renewal and that nothing is charged today.
After you cancel
Your plan card shows a banner:
Your Premium plan is set to cancel on 3 May 2027. You'll keep Premium access until then, after which you'll move to the free Basic plan.
The Cancel subscription button is replaced by Resume Premium. Pressing it puts the subscription back on its normal renewal schedule.
Cancellation is always at period end. There is no partial refund and no proration for the days you do not use.
What happens on the day
You move to Basic and its limits apply from then on. Your circuits and custom components stay exactly where they are, including any that sit above the Basic limits. Those stay open, editable, and deletable, and the limits apply the next time you create something new. Plan limits explained covers that behavior in detail.
If something goes wrong
Messages such as No active subscription to cancel., Could not reach billing right now. Please try again shortly., This offer is no longer available., or Could not cancel the subscription. Please try again shortly. mean the change did not go through. Reload the billing page to check the current state before trying again.
