Upgrade your plan

Pick a plan on the pricing page, pay through Stripe Checkout, and your new limits apply as soon as you land back on the billing page.

Upgrades happen on the pricing page. Every route into a paid plan, whether from an upgrade dialog, the Upgrade plan button on your billing page, or the site navigation, ends up on the same three cards.
Choose a plan
The page shows Basic, Standard, and Premium side by side, with an interval toggle above them. Yearly is selected by default and shows a per month equivalent with the caption billed annually and the yearly total. Switching to Monthly shows the monthly figure with billed monthly.
Each card lists what the plan includes. Standard adds private circuits and components, ten circuits, ten custom components, up to fifteen components per circuit, and all simulation types including DC Sweep. Premium removes the limits.
The button on each card tells you what it will do: Get Standard or Get Premium for a new purchase, Current plan where you already are, Scheduled for a change you have already lined up, and Upgrade to yearly or Switch to monthly when only the interval differs. While checkout opens, the button reads Starting checkout….
Pay
New purchases go to Stripe's hosted checkout page. A billing address is required, and promotion codes are accepted on that page.
Backing out returns you to the pricing page with nothing charged. Paying returns you to Plan & billing, and your new plan is already in force when the page draws.
If you are signed out when you pick a plan, you are sent to create an account first. Checkout needs an account to attach the plan to.
Moving from one paid plan to another
Going from Standard to Premium on the same interval applies right away and is prorated by Stripe, so you pay the difference for the rest of the current period.
Going from monthly to yearly opens a dialog headed Switch to yearly billing? that states the amount due today and the new renewal date before you commit. The button carries the amount, and confirming charges it and starts the year from that day.
Moving down to a cheaper plan takes effect at your renewal instead. Change or cancel your plan covers that path.
If checkout does not start
A few messages can appear instead of the payment page:
  • This plan is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly.
  • Billing is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly.
  • Could not start checkout. Please try again shortly.
  • Could not start the plan change. Please try again shortly.
  • Checkout failed. Please try again.
Each of these is worth a second attempt after a minute. Nothing is charged when checkout fails to open. If it keeps happening, contact support with the name of the plan you were buying.
