Edit your profile
Change your name, display name, and profile address under Account, then Profile. Your email address is fixed once the account exists.

Your profile holds the names CircuitSim shows to other people and the address of your public profile page. Open Account, then Profile.
The fields
Email address appears first and is switched off. Hovering it shows The email address associated with your account. This cannot be changed.
First name and Last name are the names you entered when you signed up.
Display name is the one that appears next to your circuits and your forum activity. The helper text under it reads The name that will be displayed to other users.
Slug is the end of your profile address. The helper text spells the pattern out: Your profile URL (circuitsim.com/users/<SLUG>). Keep it short and made of letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Press Save when you are done. A Changes saved. toast confirms it.
When saving fails
A failure shows Failed to save changes. Please try again. and nothing on the form is marked.
The usual cause is a slug that another member already holds. Slugs have to be unique across CircuitSim, and a collision comes back as that same general message rather than a note on the Slug field. Try a longer or more specific slug, such as adding a number or a second word, and save again.
If a different slug saves cleanly, the first one was taken. If every attempt fails, the problem is elsewhere, and support can look at the account.
Your email address is permanent
The address you signed up with stays with the account for its lifetime. There is no self-serve way to swap it, and support cannot move an account to a new address either.
If you need to work under a different address, create a second account with it. Circuits do not transfer between accounts on their own, so open anything you want to keep and save a copy from the new account, or share it through a group you belong to in both places.
The Advanced section
At the bottom of the panel sits a collapsed Advanced accordion. It contains two read-only items.
Special features lists any extra features enabled on your account as small chips, or shows "None".
Unique user ID is the internal identifier for your account, with a tooltip that reads You're more than just a GUID to us, but if you had to be a GUID, this would be it. Support may ask you for this value when tracking down a problem, and copying it from here is faster than describing your account another way.
