Roles in a group: owner, admin, and member
Who can invite, who can change settings, and who can spend money.

Every group has three roles. The person who creates the group is the owner. A group can have more than one owner, and it must always have at least one.
Member
Members read the group's overview and announcements, browse circuits and components shared with the group, post in the discussion, and share their own circuits and components in. They can remove their own shares. They cannot invite anyone or change anything about the group.
Admin
Admins do everything a member does, plus:
- Invite people as members, and cancel those invitations
- Remove members from the group
- Edit the About this group overview and manage Highlights
- Post, edit, pin, and delete announcements
- Create and delete discussion sub-forums
- Hide a shared circuit or component from members, or remove anyone's share
- Open the Activity tab
- Change group settings
- On a license group, open License & Billing, add seats, and assign seats
Owner
Owners do everything an admin does, plus:
- Invite people as admins or owners
- Change anyone's role
- Remove admins and other owners
- Upgrade a free group to a license group
- Upgrade a license group's tier
- Archive the group
Changing someone's role
On the Members tab, an owner picks a new role from the dropdown on that person's row. Promoting someone to admin or owner asks for confirmation first. Promoting a second owner does not demote you, so use it when you want cover during a holiday rather than when you want to hand the group over.
Removing someone
Open the menu at the end of the member's row and choose Remove from group. They lose access and can be invited back later. Owners cannot remove themselves, and a group cannot be left without an owner.
