Invite people to your group

Invite by email address, one at a time or by pasting a whole class list, and optionally hand each person a license seat as they join.

Open the group, go to the Members tab and choose Invite members. Owners and admins can invite. Members cannot.
The invite dialog
Role sets what the invited person can do once they join. Admins can only invite people as members. Owners can also invite admins and other owners. Roles in a group covers what each one can do.
Email addresses takes as many addresses as you like, separated by commas, spaces, or new lines. You can also choose Import from file and upload a CSV, TSV, XLS, or XLSX file with email addresses in the first column. A header row is fine.
On a license group with seats free, a switch appears reading Automatically assign a license seat. Turn it on and each person who accepts gets a seat as they join, while seats last.
Choose Send invitations to finish. You can send up to 50 invitations at a time.
What the invited person gets
They receive an email with the subject {name} invited you to CircuitSim and a button reading Accept invitation. People who already have a CircuitSim account also see a red dot next to Groups and My groups in the left navigation.
The invitation is tied to the email address you typed. If someone signs in with a different address they will see a message saying that address has not been invited, so it is worth asking people which address they use before you send a large batch.
Pending and cancelled invitations
Invitations you have sent but nobody has accepted appear on the Members tab as pending. Owners can cancel any of them. Admins can cancel the ones sent for the member role.
Letting people join without an invitation
If you would rather not chase addresses, open Settings and set Joining to Open. Anyone who can see the group then gets a banner reading This group is open to anyone with a Join group button. Combine that with Public visibility and your group is listed in the directory for anyone to find.
For a class where students should not need an email address at all, use private seats instead. See Private student seats.
